HERD Print Shop Returns & Refund Policy
At HERD, every item in our print shop is created especially for you. We work with a print-on-demand partner, which means your product is made to order once you place it.
Because of this, our returns policy is slightly different from standard retail.
1. Made-to-order products
- Each item is custom-printed when you order it
- We do not hold stock or resell returned items
This means:
- We cannot accept returns or exchanges if you ordered the wrong size, colour, or simply changed your mind [help.printify.com]
2. Damaged or faulty items
We will always make it right if something isn’t as it should be.
You may request:
- A free replacement
- Or a refund
This applies if your item:
- Arrives damaged
- Has a manufacturing defect
- Is incorrect (wrong product, design, or variation)
To qualify:
- Please contact us within 30 days of delivery
- Include a clear photo showing the issue
You do not need to return the item.
3. How to report an issue
If there’s a problem with your order:
- Email us at fosterings@herd.org.za
- Include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product

4. What is not considered a defect
To keep expectations clear:
- Minor variations in print placement are normal and not treated as faults [help.printify.com]
- Small colour differences may occur due to screen settings and printing processes
5. Delivery issues
If your order is returned due to an incorrect address or delivery failure:
- We can arrange a reprint at an additional cost
- Or offer a partial refund depending on the situation [help.printify.com]
6. Refund process
- Approved refunds are issued through our print partner system

We encourage you to:
